I only see a Month-Of Coordination Package. Do you offer Day-Of Coordination or any smaller packages?
A: One of our core values is Excellence, and we hold ourselves to a very high standard of service. Our “Creator” Month-Of Coordination Package is the bare minimum of services we’re able to offer while still ensuring that we go into the wedding day fully prepared and ready to exceed our couples’ expectations. 90% of ensuring a stress-free wedding happens before the wedding day ever starts. We take the time to learn about every miniscule detail ahead of time so that we can mitigate potential roadblocks, hold each vendor accountable to fulfilling their duties, and bring each couple’s unique vision to life while ensuring that they have a blissfully beautiful wedding day experience.
Do I really NEED a wedding planner?
A: Let’s look at it this way: This is one of the most important days of your life, which you’ve invested thousands of dollars into and which you hope to cherish magical memories of until the end of time. Do you want to remember it as the day you spent all morning setting centerpieces, directing vendors, moving tables, scrounging for a sewing kit, answering 17,369 questions, and stressing over whether to implement a weather backup plan? Do you want your mom, your aunt, or your wedding party to miss out on those precious moments of laughter and tears with you because they were “helping out”? Do you want your vendors to all be guessing at what time dinner is actually going to start when things are running behind, and your DJ to announce your first dance not realizing that your photographer is in the bathroom?
Or do you envision a wedding day where you are waited on hand and foot, reminded when you need to be somewhere with a helping hand to carry your train, pin your boutonniere or remind you to breathe, and where you get to float through your wedding day on a cloud, trusting that everything will go smoothly while remaining blissfully unaware of any of the chaos going on behind the scenes? The choice is yours, but we humbly suggest that a wedding planner may in fact be one of the most important wedding investments you could make. How is Dream Catcher Weddings different from any other wedding planner out there?
A: First and foremost, we believe in advocating for our couples. Our M.O. is to exceed our client’s expectations by doing everything within our power to make their wedding day magical (we may or may not keep a wand stashed in our wedding day fanny pack). Whether that means intervening when family members get out of hand, holding other vendors accountable to their contracts, solving last-minute emergencies, or simply giving our couples permission to say “no” when they need to, we always have our clients' backs in every way possible.
We believe in authentic and intentional weddings. This means that, for our partial and full-service packages, we start with listening to our couples share their love story and guiding them through crafting an intention statement. How can you plan a wedding (or any gathering for that matter) if you don’t know WHY you’re doing it? One of our greatest thrills is inventing wildly creative ways to honor each unique love story in a way that makes our couples feel seen and celebrated.
On top of that, we also deeply believe in making earth-conscious weddings easy and accessible to all of our couples. We never pressure our clients into anything they don’t want, but we provide them with guidance, tools and resources to help them minimize their eco-footprint without the cost, anxiety, or headache. We are constantly innovating new ways of making earth-friendly weddings easier for everyone, and we freely share all that we’ve learned with anyone who asks! (We mean it, call us up and ask us any question!)
